Kindful’s Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak

Jeremy L. Bolls
March 12, 2020

To our Kindful family,Since news broke about the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have been closely monitoring the situation and taking the necessary precautions to ensure the health of our team members, their families, our customers, and our community. To that end, we want to be part of the solution to the current challenge we are facing.

Starting today, we are encouraging our team to practice social distancing in all aspects of their daily lives, which includes working from home if they wish to do so. Because social distancing includes more than just working remotely, we’ve reminded our team of the everyday precautions they can take to minimize their risk of contracting or spreading the virus.

We have complete faith in our employees and in our ability to meet the standard of excellence we set for ourselves and that you undoubtedly deserve. Our teams are already familiar with methods of virtual communication and collaboration, and we anticipate no disruption in terms of our communication, equipment, or software. None of the measures we have taken will have any effect on the Kindful app or the infrastructure that supports it.

If you have any questions about these steps or about your Kindful account, please email support@kindful.com. A Kindful expert will respond to you as soon as possible.

As a company, we have also paused all non-essential business travel and postponed planned staff gatherings. We will not be at NTEN, as it has been canceled, and we’ve made the difficult decision to not attend AFP ICON 2020. We have let AFP know that we will not be withdrawing our sponsorship and that we will continue to support their efforts to serve their community of fundraising professionalsAt Kindful, we often refer to a list of guiding principles we’ve created known as The Kindful Way. The first principle on that list—kindness comes first—informs who we are, what we do, and how we do it. That is especially true in times like these, and we will keep that top of mind in the days and weeks ahead.

We appreciate your support as we work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our teams, their families, our customers, and our greater community.

Kindly,Jeremy L. Bolls, Kindful CEO & Founder
