At Kindful, our customers are family. We have the privilege of serving some amazing nonprofits. We’d love to highlight what our family is doing to #BeKindful!

Their story

*LiveBeyond is a faith-based, humanitarian organization focused on transforming an oppressed community in Thomazeau, Haiti, by providing good health and hope.

After the 2010 earthquake devastated Haiti, Dr. Vanderpool was a first-responder to provide care to thousands of patients affected by the disaster. After spending 12 days seeing horrific injuries, performing countless operations, and seeing the desperate need of Haiti, the Vanderpools felt called to truly help the Haitian people and provide a lasting impact in this country. The Vanderpools now live and practice medicine full-time in Haiti. LiveBeyond consists of the Hamilton Guest House and a medical clinic, with plans to build a hospital, worship center, and a school, in addition to housing for orphans and other missionaries.*Text from LiveBeyond’s About Us page

What they do

Three students collaborate over papers on a table, one student writing while others watch.

LiveBeyond has a variety of programs that impact the lives of the people of Thomazeau, Haiti, including medical care, maternal health, orphan care, clean water, community development, education, and more. Here are just a few examples of the amazing work LiveBeyond is doing for the people of Haiti:

  • Medical Care: LiveBeyond provides access to healthcare check-ups and treatments, and is currently building a hospital complex.
  • Ke Pou Timoun: A children’s program that provides students with daily meals, spiritual and leadership training, education, and livelihood opportunities in a Christ-centered environment.
  • At Risk: This LiveBeyond program serves people with disabilities in the community, providing them with medical care, meals, physical therapy, and education.

How they use Kindful

As of January 2017, LiveBeyond has been able to completely run their mission trips on Kindful.

They process between 800 and 1,000 people from across the USA using Kindful’s registration feature. They’re able to market, communicate, and account through the Emma and QuickBooks integration.

LiveBeyond has plans to use Eventbrite to handle all their events (6 this year) and process them through Kindful. The Eventbrite integration will enable them to capture every attendee in Kindful and associate them with the event they attended. “We weren’t able to do any of this before Kindful,” remarked Dr. Vanderpool. “All of this is entirely new and extremely inexpensive compared to what we were doing before.”
